This webinar will help professionals understand and navigate the law in SC regarding minor’s rights to consent to health services. Be ready to “play in the grey” and gain skills you can directly apply to your care for patients! Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and CHES hours are available for this training.
Event Objectives:
- Be able to understand the SC statutes covering minor's rights to health services.
- Be able to apply healthcare services for minors in accordance with the law, and understand what you can and cannot do with only a minor's consent.
- Be able to understand how the consent laws, mandatory reporter law, and close-in-age exception work in practice.
