Be a Fact Forward Champion
What are Champion Pages?
Champion Pages are a way for donors to connect their passion and network by creating a personal campaign to raise money on behalf of any nonprofit organization participating in Midlands Gives. Donors can create a custom web page with a goal, photos, and a personal appeal. Once the page is set up, they can share it with friends and family. You must create this page by May 2 if you’re interested.
How to Set Up Your Champion Page:
Visit the Fact Forward Midlands Gives page https://www.midlandsgives.org/factforward. Click “Create a Champion Page.” You will be asked to create a donor account – it doesn’t take long. Click on the tab My Champion Pages to create your campaign. Fill out the information. See suggestions below:
- Title of Champion Page: Join Me in Supporting Fact Forward!
- Goal: $1,500
- Hero Image: Fact Forward Logo (attached)
- Fundraiser Story: “Giving adolescents the facts they need to make healthy decisions is a community effort. Fact Forward helps train and educate people who work with young adults. They teach parents how to talk to their kids about the issues. They promote easy access to reproductive healthcare, and they work with a variety of organizations to promote policies and initiatives that improve reproductive health outcomes. I’m proud to be board member at Fact Forward – help me support them this Midlands Gives.”
You’ll then submit your campaign for approval and it will show up live on the Midlands Gives page.
How to Use Your Champion Page:
Use any of the social media posts below and replace the link to our donor page with your Champion Page link. You can also send this link to people in your network like colleagues, family members, or friends to raise money. Your Champion Page tracks how much money you individually raised as a board member!
