Updated Tuesday, March 17, 2020
Fact Forward has been closely monitoring updates at the local level via SCDHEC and the SC Governor’s Office, the national level via the CDC, and we’ve updated our response plan.
Starting on March 17, all staff will work remotely in a safe environment for the foreseeable future. Our office is not closing down, and our work will continue. We have updated technology and the ability to hold meetings and calls remotely with our partners. Staff will reach out to our partners and stakeholders to schedule virtual meetings.
All upcoming training are cancelled until 5/11/2020, but will be rescheduled. Fact Forward Day at the Statehouse and our Annual Pearlz Wine & Oyster Night Fundraiser (5/6/2020) are currently postponed. If you have already signed up for any of these events, a Fact Forward staff member will reach out to you with further details. At this time, Summer Institute is not cancelled but we are continuing to evaluate the situation based on guidance from the state and federal government.

It is Fact Forward’s policy to respond intentionally and strategically to any ongoing incident that may occur. We want to update those who work closely with us or attend trainings of ours that we are closely following the guidance updated daily from the CDC and SCDHEC.
We will continue to share news with our partners and stakeholders about office hours and cancellations as more information becomes available. In the meantime, stay safe.
