Nikita Cowan, IMPACT Coordinator, Anderson School District 3
Nikita Cowan, a native of Anderson, SC, was raised with love by her parents, Pat and Lena Roberts. She graduated from T.L. Hanna High School in 2001, where she served as Co-Captain of the Varsity Cheer Squad and was actively involved in the Unity Club and Pageant Club. She continued her education at Anderson University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education/English. With 14 years of experience in education, Nikita has primarily taught 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts (ELA). She currently serves as the IMPACT Coordinator for Anderson School District 3, working with students at both Starr-Iva Middle School and Crescent High School. The IMPACT program focuses on educating students using evidence-based Teen Pregnancy and HIV/STD Prevention curriculum that promotes safer-sex practices. In addition to her career in education, Nikita is a certified life and relationship coach and an ordained reverend. Alongside her husband, Kenta Cowan, she co-founded Total Life Restoration Ministries in 2016, a ministry dedicated to restoring individuals through the Word of God. In 2022, they launched K&N Empowerment Coaching Services, a business focused on empowering individuals and couples to strengthen their relationships and achieve personal goals. Nikita and Kenta find their greatest joy in raising their three children: Gabrielle, Keandre, and Kentasia.
