Orangeburg Sustainability Learning Collaborative Series (Session 4) - POSTPONED
Event
The Expanding the Reach Project began in 2015 with the goal of bringing medically accurate, evidence-based, age-appropriate teen pregnancy prevention curriculum to scale in Aiken, Anderson, and Orangeburg counties in South Carolina. This five-year project is scheduled to end June 30, 2020. During this fifth year of the project, we will collaborate with implementation and clinic partners along with the Local Coordinating Agency in each county to learn about the 8 factors of sustainability as defined by our funder, the Federal Office of Population Affairs. Please join Fact Forward, along with training and leadership consultant Charles Weathers, as we explore what sustainability of this project looks like for YOUR organization, schools, clinics, and community.
- An ideal delegation to these learning collaborative meetings would be a district level representative (i.d. Curriculum Coordinator, Director of Programs, etc.) and a school level representative (i.e. principal, assistant principal, lead teacher). If possible/appropriate, a teacher who facilitates the curriculum would also add value to the discussion if it coordinates into their class schedule.
- The same person/group of people is requested to attend each meeting as the information builds from the previous meetings. Sending different people each time is highly discouraged.
